Lewis Preston and Pip Blank met while living in Richmond, VA in 2017. They were brought together by their love of music, festivals, and of course tie-dye. They began making tie-dye shirts and bandanas for themselves, and also to give out as gifts to friends and family. The enjoyment of making the art, and the appreciation of the gifts led them to expand on their creativity. In 2021 they decided to make things official by giving it a name and creating a logo.

After the summer of 2024 Lewis decided to no longer be a part of the project. He moved on to work with a company that does waste management, recycling, and composting at festivals and events.
Now the main artist is just pip. He does tie dyes and also sews patches. He has recently started making more upcycled, one of a kind unique pieces out of jackets, pants and more. Check out the gallery to see what he has made most recently.
